Improve productivity in your warehouse by using mobile workbenches.
While standard desks and benches are often not tough enough to withstand the demands of a workshop or warehouse, pallet racking workbenches are strong and robust. Using pallet racking or longspan components, workbenches usually have a short pallet racking frame at each end, one top level and up to two additional lower shelf levels. Using pallet racking components allows you to choose the length and height that you desire for the workbench. Although there are standard sizes (listed below), using premium used pallet racking and shelving components increase the size options that are available. Depending on your requirements, we may recommend using EasySpan Shelving components. These create a similar workbench but have a larger range of sizes available.
Pallet racking and shelving components provide a strong frame which can be mounted onto swivel wheel castors. We have customised mounts which we have designed in-house that will be compatible with most castors. We also supply castors so that we can provide a turn-key solution.
For benchtops we usually supply Premium 25mm thick MDF Boards which provide a tough hard-wearing surface. MDF is suseptible to swelling – if you are going to be working with damp product we would not recommend MDF for your work-surface.
